WE ARE STILL ALIVE!!!!

Well we have been one super duper busy family!!! With Christmas coming up and the past few months things have been crazier then ever!

I am sure everyone is wondering where have we been and what in the world are we up to!

Well let me clue you in....

November we got off to a pretty good start... All the kids are now in school and have been doing GREAT with it!!! They love their teachers and are making so many friends! Its so hard for me to keep up with all their names. Rylee has been 100% staff free. Blake had his surgery and everything came back GREAT! My sister and Ava moved in with us till she finds another place to go and Ryan has been busier then ever with work and getting his moving business up and running! Thanksgiving time was a little harder this year though... this was the first year I have spent Thanksgiving or should I say ANY holiday without my mom and s.dad in Cali. Seeing that they are there and we are here we have planned to look forward to Christmas and take the trip to see them at that time. Besides not being with them on Thanksgiving we also got the news that my mom has Cancer. Yes I know my heart sank too! She has Colon Cancer and we are praying EVERYDAY for that she gets through this with all of her friends and family! She is doing really well though. She is in HIGH spirits and she is a SURVIVOR ALREADY! She has been through alot in the past and this is just a milestone that TO WILL PASS!

December has been a month of ups and downs and toppsy turvy turn arounds also! It started up with celebrating my step dads birthday. He got the best present ever... my mom came home from the hospital (After Six days there) that day. We then celebrated Jordans birthday on Dec 4th with him at the Angel. It was really nice to be able to get the family there. The kids sang him Happy Birthday and we had our traditional Confetti Cup Cakes! YUM! We enjoyed it very much! We learned how to make Ravioli's with Grandpa G and Cindy. It was a fun experience that I can't wait to be a part of during the holiday times from here on. We also have been meeting lots of new extended family during this holiday season. My sister decided to move to California with my parents up there in Kerman. She will be leaving on Monday December 15th. My parents came down on Friday 12th to help her move. It has been nice to be able to see them. Especially my mom. She looks good and is doing really well with staying in good spirits with her health.
We have been struggling with finding a home of our own though. Hopefully at the beginning of 2009 we will be a little more lucky in that department! We have put the looking on hold for the time being with finals and the kids holiday break coming up life is about to get just a little more crazy. We will be leaving for a well needed trip to California on the 23rd of December and then we will be coming back on December 28th just in time for the New Year!!!

Hope evryone is doing good and I will be sure to put another post up soon!

I did update photos on my shutterfly account so be sure to go check it out!

On the move!!!

Well for the past month we have been SUPER busy! Lets see where can I even begin to update you...

September ~ We moved to Phoenix! We are staying at a friends place until we find a place of our own. (As for addresses please send all mail to either my mothers back in Cali or give me a call and I will be happy to stop by if you are in the area!!!!)

Ryan and his friend Paul branched off with their own Company name in the Moving Industry. They also have a new website that can be viewed at KnockoutMovers.com.

Taylor started her new school, Camelview. She misses her old school like crazy but is making lots of friends and enjoys how much her school is involved in the arts.

October~ Taylor turned 8 on 10/12 and Kaiden will be turning 4 on 10/21!!! We had a small gathering at Petter Pipper Pizza for Taylors Birthday. You can take a look at the pictures from that day here... http://giboneyfamily.shutterfly.com/1241.

This month we also have a lot to look forward to....

OCT 20th is going to be a BIG day for the GIBONEY Family!
Kaiden starts preschool on Oct 20
Rylee and Blake go to Kindercare during the days starting Oct 20th
MOM starts school on Oct 20th also!!!

Oct 21st Kaiden turns 4

Blake has his Dr apt for his follow up to his we~we problem. We will find out more info here about getting in to see a specialist.

Kaiden has his 4 year old check up on Oct 24th

Rylee has her appointment with a specialist on Oct 25th in regards to her staff infections she gets. At this appointment we will find out how severe her symptoms are as well as we will find out what precautions we will have to do to make sure she is 100% germ free. Which will be fun. Because that will mean having her brothers and sisters be germ free at all times as well. Keeping up with one kid is enough but being on top of four lets see how this is going to work.

Oct 31st my mother will be in town!!! She will be able to spend Halloween with us and we are also going to have a small Trick or Treat Party for the kids Birthday.

With all this coming up and everything going on in our lives we are still here and holding things together. THANK GOD!!! And to all the many people who help with the daily outburst from Mom herself! ;) I will be sure to keep everyone updated though and please bare with us till we get things situated on the home front. I will be sure to get to blogging again as soon as I am back and running up to par!

And as always here are some photos to keep you smiling! :)

I Survived!!!

Yes I did... and lets just say I should get a GOLD Medal for the day I had today!!! The morning started off with... Taylor getting up and not functioning at full speed. (The result of lack of sleep from the night before.) She moved slower then a turtle this morning. It took her TWO hours to get dressed, eat, and then take some pictures for me. We barely made it to school on time. Actually we didn't make it to school on time. By the time we got about a 1/4 mile away we heard the bell ring. So we raced of to the class room door as soon as we got out of the car. Her day went really well though! She was excited to find out that she has Mrs. Kitchens and even more excited to be back at school with all her friends. I swear being in the public eye is where my daughter belongs. She just radiates when ever she is around other human beings. I mean she doesn't even have to know them and she will had befriended them, shared her and her moms life story by the time she leaves. I promise you world you will forever see my daughter in the spotlight!!! Here are some pictures for you to oh... and ah... over!

(Take a look at her demminer it says "look at me" all over it!)

Now with how my afternoon went... Blake had his Dr. Apt this afternoon and after 45 min of waiting in the waiting room and another 45 min of waiting in the room for the Dr., Blake and I were about to call it quits when finally the Dr. shows up and starts to review his chart. Blake is so tired by this time from me trying to restrain him from getting on the filthy germ infested floor that he decides he doesn't want to sit up any more in my arms. He lets his body go limp, he goes forward and hits the corner of the counter where the sink is. He is so tired and hurt that he doesn't cry or even make a noise he just holds it in and then all of a sudden he let out the biggest scream I had ever heard him let out. I finally got him to calm down for the Dr. to give him his checkup. This is where the Dr. laid him on the paper lined hospital looking table and starts to look all over his body to make sure everything is working properly. He just about gets everything checked out when he comes to his... lets just call it his we~we. The Dr. asks me to take a look at the shaft of his we~we where he has a big bump, and while I am kneeling down inspecting his we~we his says that he will have to have surgery! YES I SAID SURGERY! and as I was taking in every word that the Dr. had to say I was floored, no really literally floored. I went from me kneeling down toward Blake to sitting on my rear end on the, yes, filthy germ infested floor. I couldn't believe what I just heard. Poor Blake who just had bumped his head, is about to get 4 shots in his thigh and rear, when the Dr. decides to tell him that he has to have surgery on his we~we!!! I just couldn't believe it. As I managed to get myself up from the floor the Dr explains that he has fluid built up under the skin on the shaft of his we~we and will have to go to a specialist to get it cut open where they can release the fluid and test it to make sure that one, it isn't staff and two, that it isn't cancerous. Can you believe that AND we haven't even gotten to the shots yet! After the Dr. decides to tell me that my poor little boy will have to have his manhood.... wait he hasn't even gotten there yet... his boyhood be cut open we finally got to the shots and I don't know if it was the news of his surgery, the fact that I hate needles, or the look on my little boys face that when the Dr gave him his shots, I broke into tears! I mean pouring, oh my god come one Andria, tears! It was so bad that when the Dr was done he went out to the nurses station and had her bring in a pack of ice for Blakes head and a box of Kleenex for me! I was a reck! I surely thought that when I got my referal slip for Blake that I would have gotten another one slipped in there for my to go see some therapist or something!

Just had to add....

A Deep Breathe....

I had to take many of those today!!! I just closed my eyes and said, "BREATHE!!! Don't forget to Breathe!!!"

Well today would be Day 21 of Ryan being away from us! And lets just say this has been a crazy whirlwind of single parenthood!!! I am not sure I would ever want to go back to that again. Single hood again that is. Especially with the four little ones running around! I have always had the utmost respect for all Single Mothers out there, but now it has gone up a lot more.

So you ask why all the deep breathes? Well lets just name a few....

1.~Kaiden after days of Successfully Potty Training decided to have two accidents in his pants today! We almost had a third although we were able to run to the bathroom for a successful drop off.

2.~Little Miss Sunshine Rylee... my precious little girl who everyone thinks is this precious, sweet little angel, is actually my instigator! She decided today that after I had gotten her and Kaiden all dressed up for the family dinner we were having at my moms to go outside and play with the water hose. Now how she found out how to turn this thing on is beside me, but one thing that she did figure out was how to turn it on, completely drench her and her brother Kaiden down from head to toe in exactly 10 sec. and I say this because it was the total time it took for me to get Blake out of his playpen and walk out to the living room to see her and Kaiden standing in front of the back door drenching wet!!! Oh and did I forget to mention it was "inside" in front of the back door drenching wet!!!! You wonder how did I know that it was Rylee? Well when I asked who got into the water (OK visually picture this... them fully dressed, wet, and shivering) Kaiden points at Rylee, Rylee looks at Kaiden and with a BIG smile she raises her hand and says, "ME MOMMIE!!!"

3.~Taylor starts school tomorrow and oh my getting her back on her sleeping schedule has been one big pain in the butt. We upped her bedtime from 8:30 to 9:30 and sometimes 10:00 if she was good during the day. Well we never in a million years thought the one hour time difference would be such a hard time to get her back to her original bed time. Boy were we wrong!

4.~Blake has shots tomorrow and I am more scared for me than I am him. I always have Ryan come with me for these appointments and I now have to do this one on my own. Ryan always has to hold my hand or I step out of the room. But not tomorrow. I will be front and center and will have to hold Blake down so he can get a shot in his rear end. Definitely not something I am looking forward to. So everyone please cross your fingers that, one, I don't faint or two, get queasy all over the Dr. and believe me I WOULD!

But spite all the things that went on today... I did have some very exciting things as well. We are three quarters of the way to getting a place to stay in Phoenix! AMEN!!! We spent some nice quality time with some family. And my moms orchid that she has been watching over the WHOLE summer finally blossomed today. I posted some pics below for everyone to enjoy.

Well I am off to bed to get some well needed rest and say my prayers for Kaiden to have a better day in the potty department, Taylor to have a fabulous first day at school, Rylee to be her precious little devious self, and for Blake to hold mommie when she will be feeling a little down tomorrow after his shots! Oh yeah and for Blake to also feel absolutely nothing from the squeezing of my hand while I am holding his hand as the Dr. gives him his shot!!! :))

Love all~
